The Choir
Opus 2 is a small SATB chamber choir that sings a wide range of secular and non-secular, classical and contemporary music. The choir members share their enjoyment of singing and performing and aim to consistently achieve a high standard. Opus 2 is proud to support the local community and performs two to three concerts per year at venues in West Berkshire and is also available for musical interludes at private functions; audience participation often encouraged!
Rehearsals are held at St. Mary’s Church, Kintbury on Wednesday evenings, from 7.30 pm to 9:30 pm, under the leadership of Musical Director, Chris Lambert.
Opus 2 regularly welcomes new members of all singing parts; Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass.

Our Musical Director
Chris Lambert is a multi-talented musician, broadcaster, musical director and conductor with roots in the Midlands and a classical music training. He has spent time as an accompanist, teacher, broadcaster and performer, and acting as a theatrical musical director. Chris is currently Director of Music for the Walbury Beacon Benefice and Music School Manager at Downe House School in Cold Ash, Newbury, West Berkshire.
